The Lee Physician Hospital Organization (PHO) is a local network
designed to provide access to health care services for our local
employers and benefit administrators who serve our region. There
are over 900 physicians who participate in the Lee PHO,
representing many medical and surgical specialties. The
outstanding service provided by these physicians is combined
with Lee Memorial Health System’s award-winning hospital
programs in order to offer a wide array of healthcare services
to those we serve.
The Lee PHO also provides service and assistance to the
participating physicians and hospitals and our contracting
partners who provide health insurance programs. Our dedicated
team of professionals at the Lee PHO is available to help
resolve any issues or concerns and to provide current and timely
information that is needed to serve the patient.
Leadership
The Lee PHO operates as a messenger model and is
governed by a fifteen member Operating Committee comprised of
independent elected physicians and hospital appointees.
